Owner Paige Mac Farland began her hair design career in 1978 and trained with two of Philadelphia's best, John Kenneth and Lawrence Nelson. Working successfully for 28 years in the business, she has the experience needed to develop trusting relationships with clients from different walks in life. Most of her clients are long-term, and many are just passing through town, looking for the best there is.
The SALON of the PAINTED HORSE offers a warm, eclectic atmosphere, with much of it being a Western theme. "Buzzy" (in top photo) is Paige's horse and friend, and surely has a lot to do with the choice of decor and equestrian conversation that often compliments a styling. Like a piece of history, the salon displays timeless art; jewelry; and, photographs of western movie celebrities & regular cowboys and cowgirls alike.
